I purchased a GV80 from Genesis of Merrillville. My salesman, Zach, and everyone else I came in contact with at this dealership, went over and above to make this a very pleasant car buying experience. I was very specific in what I was looking for and Zach ensured I got just that! I highly recommend Zach and the Genesis of Merrillville!

I purchased a GV60 and was pressured into buying an

I purchased a GV60 and was pressured into buying an ALLSTATE expended warranty from GENESIS of MERRILLVILLE. I was told this would cover any and all damage to my windshield. That it would cover a replacement "even if a squirrel fell on my car and broke the windshield". While driving, a rock hit my windshield and I had a small crack. I immediately drove to the dealership. They took pictures and never repaired the crack. A bit later, the crack spread across my windshield. I was glad that I had a WARRANTY... Hahahahaha!! They said my warranty didn't cover a windshield. After THREE scheduled appointments, they finally installed a windshield. Two times, they put it in wrong or didn't have the a part. They left my car filthy, uncharged, glass shards all over the dashboard...AND they charged me for the windshield. My HEADS-UP DISPLAY is distorted and cuts off half of the words. I found out that they installed an after market windshield that is not compatible with a HEADS -UP DISPLAY. It is also illegal to install after market parts on a car less that five years old. I have opened a case with GENESIS CARES. This dealership has LIED to them saying that they have tied to resolve my issue, but I am hindering their attempts. I have a review on GOOGLE. They responded that they will call me in a few days and help. THEY DID NOTHING!!!!! They just wrote that on every bad review so that it looks like they resolve issues. It is a great pleasure to work with Justin.He is very pleasant, polite, professional and very knowledgeable about the car I purchased. He setup and explained the technology in the car. He made followup calls and sent texts to make sure I was comfortable with car. He is always happy and willing to answer any and all questions. I feel reassured. I have known Adam since 2022 when Purchased my 2022 g80. He is always pleasant, professional and happy to answer questions I may have. Adam, you are the reason I purchased my second Genesis car within four years. Genesis of Merrillville you made an excellent choice in placing Adam in his present position. thank you Zach for taking photos, my car and the sales team, it is a good memory. I want to thank everyone who was involved in preparing the car for delivery and specially Ben, Joe French and Joe the mechanic, in my opinion is the most important team member who does an excellent job of making sure my cars are safe to drive. The car was very shiny and decorated when I first saw it. It was a very pleasant experience. Everyone was smiling and it was great to see they enjoy what they do.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing my new 2026

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing my new 2026 Genesis GV70 from Genesis of Merrillville and I can honestly say it was one of the most positive and stress-free car buying experiences I've ever had. From the first point of contact to the time I drove off the lot, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued, not just as a customer, but as an individual. Conrad and Adam were simply outstanding throughout the process. It was smooth and straightforward with no pressure to add on anything that didn't make sense for me and my specific situation which is not what you always see at deslerships. Once the paperwork was signed and the car was cleaned up (heavy rains the night before) Conrad took the time to walk me through all the car's features, demonstrating how everything worked which was a huge plus as I switched from an EV back to gas so I had to refamilarize myself with more buttons, lol I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or used car. Their professionalism, honesty, and genuine dedication to customer service are truly commendable. Thank you Genesis of Merrillville and especially both Conrad and Adam for making my car buying journey such a positive and memorable one! I am absolutely thrilled with my new GV70!

They took pictures and never repaired the crack. A bit later, the crack spread across my windshield. I was glad that I had a WARRANTY... Hahahahaha!! They said my warranty didn't cover a windshield. After THREE scheduled appointments, they finally installed a windshield. Two times, they put it in wrong or didn't have the a part. They left my car filthy, uncharged, glass shards all over the dashboard...AND they charged me for the windshield. My HEADS-UP DISPLAY is distorted and cuts off half of the words. I found out that they installed an after market windshield that is not compatible with a HEADS -UP DISPLAY. It is also illegal to install after market parts on a car less that five years old. I have opened a case with GENESIS CARES. This dealership has LIED to them saying that they have tied to resolve my issue, but I am hindering their attempts. I have a review on GOOGLE. They responded that they will call me in a few days and help. THEY DID NOTHING!!!!! They just wrote that on every bad review so that it looks like they resolve issues. I received this response, as did every reviewer that left a negative Google review. I haven't heard from anyone. This is just to look like they have responded. They have no intention of addressing this issue. Update: They installed an after market windshield, at my expense, after they stole my windshield warranty money. This caused my HEADS-UP DISPLAY to have a warped and incomplete appearance. It is illegal to use after market parts on a car less that five years old. I have opened a claim against this dealership with GENESIS CARES. This dealership has lied to GENESIS saying that they resolved my claim.

Everyone is so nice & patient & accommodating.

Everyone is so nice & patient & accommodating. Definitely a family feel environment. Dave, Justin, & Conrad all took time to help me make an educated decision. The managers Adam & Jaci worked so hard to get me into my dream Genesis for a great price & 10years of warranty coverages. Highly recommend!
