The GV90 is the largest and most ambitious vehicle Genesis has built: a full-size, three-row luxury SUV that runs on electricity alone. It is the production form of the Neolun concept Genesis first showed in 2024, and it sits above the GV80 as the new flagship of the Genesis SUV family.
Genesis offers it in three expressions. The GV90 is the three-row model with conventional doors. The GV90 Neolun adds the Neolun Arch Gate, a pair of coach-style doors with a hidden B-pillar. The GV90 Neolun First Edition is the most indulgent of the three, with appointments such as a private refreshment refrigerator and genuine wood floors with radiant heating.
Is it the 2027 or 2028 Genesis GV90?
It is the same vehicle under two names. Genesis Motor America designates the first U.S. model as the 2028 GV90, while much of the automotive press refers to it as the 2027 GV90 because it arrives in calendar year 2027. When you see either name, it describes the GV90 arriving in early 2027.

The GV90 joins the G90 sedan at the very top of the Genesis family.
